Letter From
Pastor
 |
Dear friend,
Welcome to our web site. Thank you for taking a few
moments to discover more about Longton Elim Church.
I count it a great privilege to be the pastor of a wonderful congregation of
people of all ages and walks of life. We have some great young
|
people and equally valued elderly folk also. Young families and
middle-aged people worship happily together. Couples and singles find warmth and acceptance. People of all
races and colours are welcome. We have professional people, students, unemployed and homemakers, but before
the cross of Jesus Christ we are all equal.
Being equal does not make us the same and we
praise God that He has made us different with varying gifts and abilities that may be used in His
service.
We hope very much that you will visit our church and hopefully keep coming until you find
your place and function in the life of the church. Please come along without any obligation or commitment until
such time as you know where you belong. Once you do then we can discuss commitment and
involvement.
If you are visiting from out of town please accept our invitation to worship during your time
in Stoke-on-Trent. We trust you will receive spiritual refreshment, which will take you back to your own
church with renewed vitality and commitment.
We look forward to meeting you.
God bless you and yours.
